Training help
Training is the simulator for residents and anesthesiologists. This page shows how to choose a case, manage the anesthetic, and read the report.
Choose a case
- On the dashboard, open the Simulate section.
- The free case is available to every account. With the Training plan, the section lists all the cases in the content library.
- Click a case. The simulator opens in a new tab with the patient chart.

Manage the anesthetic
The simulator has the Case, Drugs, Airway, Ventilator, Regional, Devices, and Assess tabs. The monitor is always visible.
- Drugs. Bolus, pump infusion, and TCI. The plasma and effect-site concentrations appear in the PK tab.
- Airway. Preoxygenation, laryngoscopy, tracheal tube, laryngeal mask, and extubation.
- Ventilator. Mode, volume, rate, PEEP, FiO₂, and the inhaled agent.
- Regional. Spinal anesthesia, epidural anesthesia, and peripheral nerve blocks. The map shows the dermatomes, nerves, muscles, and bones covered.
- Devices. Venous access, monitoring, and coagulation, with the ACT.
- Assess. Strength test, painful stimulus, and the exams.
The time speed goes from 1x to 60x. At high speed, critical alarms stop time from advancing.
Read the report
At the end of the case, the report detects the technique from what happened, and it uses the technique that you declared when there is one. It has four parts:
- Summary in text, with the timeline.
- What could be better, with the moment and the signal that triggered each item.
- What went well.
- Debriefing, with questions to discuss with your preceptor, and the Alternatives tab, with possible techniques and blocks for the same case.

History
Each report stays in your account, under Reports. The list shows the case, the score, and the date. Click a report to open the full version.
Frequently asked questions
Is the report a formal assessment?
No. The report is study material. It does not replace the assessment of your residency program.
Can I repeat a case?
Yes, as many times as you want. Each run creates a new report.
