Teach help

Teach is the educator dashboard. This page shows how to create a classroom, invite students, create assignments, read the reports, and use the live console.

Who has Teach

  • Free Teach. If you sign in with a registered institutional email and the team verifies your affiliation, you get one classroom of up to ten students.
  • Teach plan. Unlimited classrooms, with up to 30 students each. See the prices.

Your affiliation appears in your profile. While it is "unverified", talk to the team with the name of your institution.

Create a classroom

  1. In the menu, click Teach and then New classroom.
  2. Give it a name and, if you want, a description. Example: "First-year residents (R1) 2026, airway module".
  3. Save. The classroom gets an eight-character access code.

Invite students

There are two ways:

  • Access code. Give the code to the class. Each student signs in to the portal with their own account and types the code on the classroom join page.
  • Email invitation. In Students, type the email of a student in Invite by email and click Send invitation. One invitation per student. Each student gets an email with the code. When the student joins, their row changes from "invited" to "active".

Students do not need a plan. Your Teach covers the class in the assignments.

A removed student cannot join again with the code. To bring the student back, send a new invitation.

Create an assignment

An assignment is a case from the content library that you assign to the classroom.

  1. In Assignments, click New assignment and choose a case from the content library.
  2. Write the title and the instructions. Example: "Use balanced general anesthesia. Declare the technique in the report."
  3. Set the due date and save. Each student gets an email with the case and the date.

Read the classroom reports

In Reports, the table has one row per student and one column per assignment: the score and the link to the full report. A student who has not done the case yet appears with no score. The reports that students make outside the assignments appear in a separate list.

Live console

The console opens a case in the simulator in the instructor role.

  1. In Live, choose the case and click Open as instructor. The simulator opens in a new tab.
  2. Project the monitor for the class or share your screen.
  3. Use the questions from the report in the debriefing.

The instructor controls during the session, such as complications, pause, and time advance, come in a future version.

Archive a classroom

At the end of the module, click Archive classroom. The reports stay available. An archived classroom does not accept new students.
