Play help

AnestSim Play is a game built on the same clinical engine as the simulator. This page explains the mechanics and how the plan works between the portal and the stores.

Where to play

Play is coming to the stores in stages: Steam, PC, Mac, Xbox, Switch, iOS, iPadOS, and Android. The Play page has the launch notice form. Leave your email and we will tell you when your platform is available.

Missions

Each mission is a case with a goal: induce without hypotension, maintain saturation with a difficult lung, manage a spinal for a cesarean section. The mission ends when the surgery ends or when the patient cannot hold on.

Difficulty levels

The difficulty changes the patient, not the rules. At the easiest level, the patient is healthy and the surgery is elective. At the high levels, comorbidities, bleeding, and complications come into play.

Score

The score comes from the same report as Training: stable hemodynamics, adequate ventilation, anesthetic depth in range, and the right dose at the right time. Each mission shows the score at the end.

Unlocks and leaderboards

  • Unlocks. New cases, drugs, and techniques open as you progress.
  • Leaderboard. Your score goes on the leaderboard of each mission.
  • Daily challenge. One new case per day, the same for everyone, with its own leaderboard.

How the plan works

  1. The portal sells the Play plan. The stores sell the game.
  2. Subscribe to the Play plan on the pricing page.
  3. In the game, on a console or from a store, the game shows a linking code. Type the code on the portal to link the device to your account. The linking step arrives together with the store launch.
