Getting started

In five minutes, you create your account, complete the sign-up, and give your first anesthetic in the free case.

1. Create your account

  1. Open the sign-in page and click Sign in with email.
  2. Type your email. If you can, use the email of your university, your hospital, or your residency program. It identifies your institution. For educators, free Teach opens after the team verifies the affiliation.
  3. Follow the secure authentication page. It sends a code to your email or uses the Google account of your institution.

2. Complete the sign-up

  1. Who are you? Choose one option: student, resident, anesthesiologist, educator, player, or other. This adjusts the dashboard. You can change it later in your profile.
  2. Your institution. If your email matched a registered institution, that institution appears selected. Confirm it or change it. Without an institutional email, you can still choose an institution. The affiliation stays "unverified" until the team confirms it.

3. Get to know the dashboard

The dashboard shows the three lines, your plan, your latest reports, and your classrooms. The line suggested for your profile is highlighted.

4. Run the free case

Every account has one free case. It has no guide: you decide everything. The report shows the result.

  1. On the dashboard, in the Simulate section, click Open the free case. The simulator opens in a new tab.
  2. Read the patient chart and the anesthetic plan.
  3. Manage the anesthetic. Preoxygenate, induce, intubate, ventilate, maintain.
  4. At the end, read the report and answer the debriefing questions.

5. Run the other cases

The Training plan unlocks all the cases in the content library. With the plan active, the Simulate section of the dashboard lists each case with a link.
